Engine Cooling Service Dubai — Prevent Overheating Before It Happens
Coolant flush, thermostat check, radiator pressure test. At your location.
When You Need This
Signs your car needs attention.
In Dubai's summer, engine cooling isn't optional — it's critical. An overheating engine can cause catastrophic and expensive damage within minutes. Cooling system maintenance is one of the most overlooked but important services for Dubai drivers.
- Temperature gauge climbing higher than usual or into the red
- Coolant warning light on the dashboard
- Steam or smoke coming from the engine bay
- Coolant puddles under the car when parked
- Sweet smell coming from the engine (coolant leak)
UAE Service Interval
Coolant should be replaced every 2–3 years or 50,000 km. In UAE conditions, we recommend the shorter interval. The cooling system should also be pressure-tested annually to catch leaks early — a slow leak that's fine in winter can cause overheating in Dubai's 45°C+ summer.
What's Included
Everything done at your location.
- Full coolant system flush and refill with OEM-spec coolant
- Thermostat inspection (replacement quoted if faulty)
- Radiator pressure test to check for leaks
- Coolant hose and clamp visual inspection
- Water pump and drive belt visual check
Why Dubai is different: Dubai's summer temperatures — sustained at 40–48°C for months — push cooling systems to their limits. Coolant degrades faster in high heat, losing its corrosion inhibitors and becoming acidic. This attacks the radiator, water pump, and heater core from the inside. Regular coolant flushes and pressure tests are essential, not optional, for UAE-based vehicles.

Common Questions
Engine & Cooling Service Dubai FAQs.
What happens if my engine overheats?
Stop immediately. Continued driving with an overheating engine can warp the cylinder head, blow the head gasket, or seize the engine — repairs costing AED 5,000–30,000+. Pull over safely, turn off the engine, and call us. Never open the radiator cap on a hot engine.
How often should I change coolant in Dubai?
Every 2 years or 50,000 km — whichever comes first. UAE heat degrades coolant's corrosion inhibitors faster than in cooler climates. Old coolant becomes acidic and starts attacking radiator and engine components from the inside.
Can you fix a coolant leak at my location?
Yes, for most leaks. We pressure test the system to pinpoint the source, then repair or replace the faulty component. Minor hose leaks, thermostat housing cracks, and radiator drain plug failures are all on-site repairs. Severe radiator damage may need a specialist.
My temperature gauge went into the red once and then came back down. Should I be worried?
Yes. A temperature spike that normalises often indicates a failing thermostat or early coolant loss. It can also be a sign of a developing head gasket issue. Get it checked before it happens again — the second time may not resolve itself.
Does the cooling service include the cabin heater?
The heater core is part of the cooling circuit — if there's a coolant leak inside the cabin (fogged windows, sweet smell inside the car), we investigate the heater core as part of the cooling system inspection.
